Problem: For many, design is not a career that's easily understood or represented at a young age. There is little to no exposure on what it means to be a designer and what it's like to work in such a field.
Solution: DUUNK (Design Understanding U Need to Know) is an after-school educational program
created to teach students in the 6th-8th grades at Vine Middle Magnet School the fundamentals of design that they
experience within their everyday lives in a stimulating, fun, and engaging way. Students were exposed to a wide scope of career opportunities in the design world that show its diversity and countless possibilities.
